Our Confirmation Instruction will use the Rite-13 curriculum which is a two year instruction leading to the Affirmation of Faith. All youth who are 11 or will be turning 11 this year and have not completed a confirmation program are eligible. CLICK HERE FOR THE SCHEDULE.  We'll meet on Sundays later afternoon or early evening, for fellowship, food and some fun activities based on a biblical or seasonal theme. We will sing, enjoy interactive games, plan to have an activity or project that can be taken home or used in the community, and eat a good dinner that will be provided for all the participants.
A permission form will be needed for each youth, and can be found HERE.

A prayer for those affirming their faith: Gracious Lord, through water and the Spirit you have made these young sisters and brothers your own. You forgave them all their sins and brought them to newness of life. Continue to strengthen them with the Holy Spirit, and daily increase in them your gifts of grace: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord, the spirit of joy in your presence; through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord. Amen

Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without Christ.

Just as love of God begins with listening to his word, so the beginning of love for our brothers and sisters is learning to listen to them.
―  (Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Life Together)

We Are Becoming

This life is not devoutness, but becoming devout;

not health, but becoming healthy;
not being, but becoming, and
not resting, but doing.

We are not yet what we should be, but we are becoming what we should be.

Martin Luther, Meditation on Philippians 3:13
