The Peace First Lutheran Church historical records are in the process of being digitized to the Internet Archive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit digital library. The Clatsop County Historical Society is working to scan and upload the records so that they are freely accessible to all researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public. You can do a search for a name, word, place, etc. in the records with one caveat: If the keyword you are searching for is handwritten in a record, the search will not find it. It will search for text that is typed. Many of the earlier records are handwritten and/or written in a language other than English. However, all records have been dated (time period covered) and the church identified, so one can page through (online) and zoom in.
